May 9, 2008 - (This is a Friday night) The Cowboy Blues Band is excited to be playing THE RESERVE in Laurel, MS for the first time. The reserve is fast becoming famous for bringing in nationally known acts like Jeff Cook of Alabama, Paul Thorn, Leon Russell, Gene Watson, and so many more.The first half of the night features a hot performance by the CBB. The night concludes with Nashville Recording Artist Amy Chappell from CMT's NASHVILLE STAR! The Band will be playing for Amy and will feature Jimmy Buffett's Steel Guitar Player Doyle Grisham setting in with us.We are extremely honored to be asked to come and play for this Restaurant and Entertainment complex. The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce presents the 34th Annual Atwood Music Festival on May 23-24, 2008. The Cowboy Blues Band will open for the group Ghost Town at around 8:30PM and we will play until 9:30 PM. The music starts at 5:30 Friday afternoon with local entertainment. Ticket prices are: Adult Advance Fri-$10, Sat-$20, Wkend-$30. Child Advance (ages 6-14)Fri-$8, Sat-$12, Wkend-$20. Adult Gate Fri-$15, Sat-25, Wkend-$35. June 6, 2008 - June 7, 2008 - The Cowboy Blues Band travels to Vicksburg to play at The Beechwood Lounge. This is an exciting club that has been established in Vicksburg as one of the coolest places to go. It would definately be worth the trip. We will play for two nights. Lodging is available at The Rainbow Hotel and Casino, The Beachwood Motel next to the lounge, or the Horizon Hotel and Casino.
