The Cowboy Blues Band from Collins, MS was founded December 7, 2005. The Band has worked hard to develop their craft and provide entertainment that is both unique and familiar. The band plays a genre that includes Southern Rock, Country, Motown, and Blues, and every show is an energetic experience for persons of all ages and backgrounds.
The Cowboy Blues Band includes Jessie Howell on Lead Vocals, Brad Miller on Lead and Slide Guitars, Johnny Glover on Drums, Al '' Fish" Herring on Keyboards and Horns, and Paul Walther on Bass Guitar. Each band member's eclectic background makes it easy for them to switch into different genres and provide a musical medley that is both fresh and exciting.
The Cowboy Blues Band was the one of the headline acts for 2007's Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum's Summer Fair, 2007's Cruisin' the Coast, 2007's Okatoma Cruiser's Car Show, The Hollywood Casino's Club Royale, and The Grand Casino's Grand Band Showcase. The Band has been a featured act for 2008's Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum's Crawfish Festival opening up for Joe Nichols. The Band is the official band of the 2008 Okatoma Festival in Collins, MS, and they enjoy playing events all along the Gulf Coast of Mississippi,Alabama, and Louisianna.
